How to use the GRE spreadsheet

Edited

This guide applies to both the Quantitative (Math) and Qualitative (Verbal) GRE spreadsheet sections.

TAB: Student Calendar

Mock Tests: Assign regularly as homework. To assign, type the date in the Due Date field — the exam will auto-populate. Incorrect Questions: After submission, incorrect answers populate automatically — verify students are improving over time. Note: maximum 15 incorrect questions; if question 16+ appears, it is a technical error — ignore it. Practice Sets: Integrate regularly into sessions alongside mock exams.

TAB: Qualitative / Quantitative Summary

Check percentage correct by topic. Note: may be slightly inaccurate as it sometimes calculates out of 20 rather than 12–15 questions.

Important: There are currently no QUIDs (topic breakdowns) for the GRE. Specific topic analysis and predicted scores are not yet available. Track progress by percentage correct across mocks rather than raw scores, since each mock has a different number of questions. This spreadsheet will be updated when QUIDs are available.
