Educator expectations & dress code
As a Zinkerz educator, your responsibilities extend beyond teaching. These are the operational and professional expectations you are held to at all times.
1. Check your LivePrep schedule daily
Check your class schedule at least once per day via LivePrep Calendar. Email notifications and personal calendar integrations are available, but LivePrep is the most up-to-date source. Check at the end of each night to confirm the next day's schedule.
2. Keep your availability up to date
Update availability changes as soon as possible. Removing a time does not automatically remove already-scheduled classes. Contact Zinkerz Support via WhatsApp or email hayley@zinkerz.com if a recurring class time needs to change. Set classes to pending if you cannot attend.
3. Communication
Respond to all Zinkerz communications within 24 hours. Notify us of schedule or availability changes ideally 1-2 weeks in advance.
4. Fill out lesson notes and spreadsheets after every class
Completing lesson notes and spreadsheets accurately after every lesson is essential. See Lesson note submission and Lesson note responses for detailed guidance.
5. Dress code
Maintain a neat and professional appearance on camera at all times.
All undergarments must be worn discreetly beneath clothing.
Your face must be visible at all times — no sunglasses or hats.
Chest, shoulder area, and midriff must be covered.
Tops with shoulder straps of sufficient width are allowed; spaghetti straps are not permitted.
Clothing must not display language or imagery of a sexual, political, or potentially controversial nature.
Only small, acceptable logos are permitted.
If you are unsure whether an item of clothing is appropriate, reach out before your class.
